Dr. Eileen Haring has joined our group!

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Eileen Haring as a post-doctoral fellow to our team. Earning her PhD from the University of Freiburg, Germany, she investigated the role of bile acids and endoplasmic reticulum stress in graft-versus-host disease. Following her doctoral work, she pursued genomic and transcriptomic analyses of leukemia and T cells during immunotherapy as a post-doctoral fellow at the University Medical Center Freiburg, Germany. More recently, she conducted innovative research in the field of mucosal immunology at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Eileen has extensive experience in stem cell transplantation models, flow cytometry, and organoid culture systems.

In her new role within our lab, Eileen will be studying how metabolic cues in the microenvironment regulate anti-leukemia immunity. We are excited to have Eileen as a part of our team!

We are joining the DBM!

The Apostolova Lab will join the DBM on November 1, 2023. We are excited and looking forward to being a part of this wonderful scientific community.
